Busy Week and a Tribute to Coco!

As I sit here thinking about the last time I wrote a blog it seems like it was months ago, where in fact it was only a few days. The past two days here at The Ohio State University have been as busy as a highway outside of LA during rush hour. I have had so much to get done and it seems like so little time to actually do it. I had some great interviews though and, cross my fingers, will hopefully hear back from them soon and I was also appointed to take over as the Director of the Elections Governance Board here at Ohio State, which is a great honor.

I also would like to say that because of some recommendations, DRE, that I will be putting some jokes or maybe some interesting YouTube videos in the blog to, "spice things up a little bit."

The Office is probably one of my favorite TV Shows of all time. It does, however, rank behind Seinfeld which will always be number one! I would love to work for Michael Scott someday, I think that would be a very easy job...that's what she said! I just do not like how NBC has decided that they will only play a new episode of The Office every 2 months, which is killing me! I always look forward to Thursday nights and sitting back and relaxing and watching Community, The Office, and 30 Rock but yet again NBC rips me off this week and will not allow me to see a new Office! Thats terrible (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2l81l5IN_HI).

While I am ranting about NBC, let me just say that what they did to Conan O'Brien was rude and shows that they have no class. Conan took a situation, in which he lost the job that he had always dreamed of happening after 7 short months, with class and great respect for NBC tradition. He could have took the mean route and ripped Jay Leno apart but instead decided that he would make the best of the time that he had left and earned the nations respect and supporters for a lifetime. I wish nothing but the best to Mr. O'Brien and hope he gets a great deal with a new network once he is allowed to come back.

I hope that you all had a good week and I look forward to talking to you soon! Take care and.....

Beautiful Beginnings

I would like to start off this blog by welcoming everyone that will read this.....so HELLO! I am a Junior at The Ohio State University and could not be aware of a better place to attend school and make memories that will last a lifetime. Ever since I was a little kid I could remember walking around this campus and thinking this is the place I will go to school someday and years later, I am here. I, now and forever, will always bleed Scarlet and Grey!
I look back and think of all the places that I have been and the numerous people that I have met and can only thank them for being a part of my life. My friends here at school are amazing and I could not be where I am in life without them! Back home, my friends are the foundation and give me the confidence and support in any decision that I make. I think of my life as Seinfield....its a life about nothing but funny things always happen and amazing things always occur!

This weekend my friends Tom, Joe, and Emily came down to visit and it turned into a weekend of adventure after adventure. On Friday, I was preparing the apartment for the arrival of my guests and I received a call from Joe asking where the nearest Auto Zone was, the bad part was that I missed his first call and by the time I got his second call he was broke down 60 miles from where I live and walking 2 miles to the nearest gas station. By the time I got to this little town of Union where they towed his car. I picked Joe up and we started our journey back to Columbus to meet up with Tom and Emily. We had a usual Columbus evening and made a new friend named Max from Rochester, NY.

Today, we made our way back to Union to pick up Joe's car that had been fixed. After getting there and picking up the truck we headed to the local Bob Evans for a lunch/dinner meal. Let me say this small town was very quaint and the people were very close with one another. We had, I am not even kidding right now, the BEST waitress ever in Cindy! She was very kind and did anything to make sure that our meal with Mr. Evans was amazing and that we loved it, and we did. After we returned to Columbus we embarked on creating Joe a twitter, you can reach him at joeregs. Then we started this blog and decided to venture out onto campus to see what was happening.

I hope that my first blog was not a complete failure and that you come back soon to see what else is new!
